Each Okra collection is a labor of love, conceived of and brought to life with care and attention paid to every detail. And it all starts with the choice of material.

Brass, gold, silver…each has its own radiant beauty and we love them all. When we begin work on a collection, we choose the metal that best fits the spirit and intention of the collection, and then allow the material’s inherent qualities to inspire the individual pieces.

To help you better understand the metals you wear, we’ve put together this guide to all the precious metals we use here at the Okra studio. We’ve also included care instructions for each one, so that you can keep your pieces looking beautiful for years to come. Although tarnishing is natural and happens to all metals, except solid gold, the right care will allow your jewelry to evolve with you over the years, growing even more beautiful with time.
