“Julie and her team took the time to REALLY listen to us! There is a specific story I want to tell through the rings to really make them uniquely ours, from the shape of the rings to the details of gems and engraving.
Julie and her team were so genuine to listen to us and dedicated to make sure every detail of my creative vision comes to life beautifully. The whole experience was not only smooth and delightful, but also become a special memory for us. If you want to make really meaningful, unique and beautiful jewelry, Okra is the one!”
For two surfers in love, their rings were inspired by the sea. His band carries the texture of the waves and the soft shape of a surfboard. Hers takes the form of a shell, with his fingerprint hidden inside. Both were crafted in 14K gold.

“Working with Okra to design our rings was such a thoughtful and personal experience. From the very beginning, Julie and Pamela took the time to listen to my story and guide me through each step with patience and creativity.
The final rings were everything I envisioned and somehow even more. I loved the moments when our ideas came together to refine the design, and the way they paid attention to every detail, checking in with me at each step. What amazed me most was how beautifully Okra incorporated elements of nature into the design, making the rings feel organic, timeless, and deeply personal.
A special proposal and ring were always what we were looking for, and the customized design made it all possible. Every time friends ask about the proposal, the story behind the ring naturally becomes part of it.
If you’re considering an Okra piece for your special occasion, I would say go for it. You won’t just be getting a beautiful ring, you’ll be part of a collaborative and heartfelt process that makes the piece even more meaningful.”
In Chinese astrology, he is a Rat and she is a Rabbit. Together, they inspired the tiny figures that chase each other around the ring, forever connected in their own little world.

“While looking for proposal rings on Xiaohongshu, I was immediately drawn to Okra’s unique and captivating designs. The experience of working with Julie was exceptional; she kept me involved in every detail, from initial sketches and 3D modeling to the wax molds and final pieces. Being part of the crafting process made this ring a true symbol of love that I will cherish forever.
My partner and I absolutely adore the natural elements of stars, the moon, and animals, as well as the beautiful traces of handcraftsmanship. It is a truly charming, one-of-a-kind ring. Thank you, Julie, for making this journey so special!”

“It’s an almost fateful thing to choose Okra and Julie as our wedding ring designer and maker. I love the whole experience of creating something together - the fact that it is something co-created, unique to you and also meaningful and spiritual as what it is. The finger print process is actually so fun, because both our finger prints are so different so the ring surface and shape has to be adjusted and dedicated to our own finger prints. It’s feels super special to be part of the creating process. Everything is smooth and the qualify of the ring is super satisfying. I would definitely recommend Okra and Julie for every couple to wants to have a meaningful and unique wedding rings.”
FEI & STEVE
“From the very beginning, we both wanted something unique and special—not something that can be easily bought in store and many other people also share, at least not for wedding rings. It has to be ours and ours only, totally unique pieces, just like the people who will wear them.
So we started searching for custom rings, but most places we found only offer custom engraving, rather than a completely custom ring; this is when I thought about Okra, with all its unique, handmade pieces that have caught my eyes for a few years. Each Okra piece is one of a kind—it has character and warmth, like a living spirit with its own life, and this really fits what we were looking for. I guess fate brought us here, brought us to Okra, and given the timing, it just feels like it was meant to be.
The fact that we are fully involved in the whole process of brainstorming, visualizing what kind of rings we want, being part of the designing process. A really satisfying process, a lot of fun, and truly an unforgettable experience. Plus, no one else will have the same rings as ours, ever, which feels extra special.
Such involvement in the process of shaping and creating an important piece of unique jewelry was impossible to find anywhere else. No other store that we reached out to offered such a bespoke yet intimate experience with so much care and love. Julie and Pamela have been tremendously helpful in showing us some of the rings they made—in Julie’s case her own wedding ring
Their professionalism, and the gentle, caring and loving attitude that they have shown throughout the process, has been melted into each piece produced by Okra—you can see and feel the perfect harmony of power and gentleness in one, through their product photos online or in person at their lovely studio.✨”

“It is an honor to be adorned in the first-ever wedding bands of Okra’s Signature Collection.
To us, our wedding bands are more than beautiful heirlooms that unite us, they are also an ode to fate and to magic.
It was there, on the rooftop of Okra’s first location that my husband and I met and it was this meeting that would quickly change our lives forever.
It felt meaningful and a true full-circle moment to ask Julie to handcraft the rings that would forever symbolize our love. The rings she created for us are absolutely gorgeous. Their unique wabi-sabi form serves as a reminder that beauty is found in the imperfect. The delicate engravings of a moon (for me), and a sun (for him), represent the beautiful balancing nature of marriage.
For us, they are not just rings, they are a serendipitous story about how our golden love, and our golden rings, came to be.”
A hand-sculpted ring inspired by a mountain that holds special meaning for the couple. Its form flows into a wave and finishes with a spiral, bringing together the landscape, the sea, and a symbol of movement and growth.

“This process has already transcended design itself; it carries love and blessings with it. ❤️
At first, we had very little idea of what we wanted for the ring, but Julie, with her artistic mind, quickly drew up a preliminary blueprint for us that we were extremely satisfied with.
In addition, Julie and Pamela kept checking in with us throughout the production process, asking for our opinions and making timely modifications and responses. This gave us great peace of mind.
The engagement ring Okra designed for us matches our original vision perfectly. The initial inspiration came from the very first photo I took of my fiancée Doris in front of a snowy mountain.
We brought this ring to the primeval forest in northern Thailand, which has been protected by the Karen people. There, we held a sacred and loving engagement ceremony. When Doris put on the ring, I felt immense fulfillment and felt that our relationship had grown even closer. Most importantly, this ring represents our commitment to each other in this relationship.
Whenever we look at this ring, we are reminded of the deep meaning it holds and the profound engagement ceremony we had in that primeval forest in northern Thailand. Seeing Doris love wearing this ring and treasure it brings me great joy from deep within my heart. This ring is a testament to the past three years of our lives together and represents our deepest commitment and love for each other at this stage.”
