WALL TOTEMS

As I began to create, my memories and my imagination united, and every unique object became a totem. They adorned my walls, reminiscent of the ocean, the wilderness; of Mauritius and of trips that marked me.

I discovered freedom in confinement. The wall totems sent moments of bliss in which I imagined myself laying on my backs, soaking in the sun. I watched as wisps of dreamy clouds coursed through the blue skies above me. And for a fleeting moment I felt transported by the smell of the crisp air, darkness slowly enveloping the sky, the silence interrupted only by the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. I discovered a lightness of being, felt free. I was at home on my Island Cabin, free to create and live in inspiration.
