I spent my childhood in Mauritius, and no matter where I am today, my mind is never far from the island. Its smells, sights, sounds, and slow rhythms are the essence of home to me, and a source of inner peace I return to often.

As the world continues to shift and change around us, the memories from that time become even sweeter — especially the cherished moments spent with my grandmother, Popo. Her house was a sanctuary, filled with food, light, laughter, and joy. She passed away this year, and I miss her dearly. The Returning to the Island Collection is dedicated to her and is inspired by my longing to recapture our time together, surrounded by the peace and beauty of the island.
